"The Invincible (Ajeo)' symbolizes the glorious
history and gradual emergence of 10 Infantry
Division. The name "Invincible (Ajeo)' itself
indicates the firm determination of 10 Infantry Division in safeguarding the
sovereignty and integrity of our beloved motherland Bangladesh.
The
monument(Ojeo) has the shape and color similar to the formation sign of 10 Infantry
Division. The shield-like base symbolizes the
determination to uphold the sovereignty of motherland at any cost as a dedicated soldier with the spirit of
overflowed patriotism. The architectural aspects of this monument is similar to
the first design of helicopter by Leonardo Da Vinci symbolizing the dream of
reaching the peak of excellence by each
and every member of 10 Infantry Division. The well planned 10 pillars are
equidistant and circularly spaced from smaller to larger which stand for the
emergence of 10 Infantry Division and gradual prosperity of Bangladesh after
the liberation war of 1971 till today. Above all, the juxtaposition of the pillars
symbolizes the unity, strength and robustness. The upward helical construction
also indicates the progressive thoughts and vastness of mind.
The three golden arrows at the top symbolize
aggressiveness and speed. Golden colour of the arrow stands for the firm
determination for a golden future of Bangladesh. Blue stands for the sea and
hills which mingle at the horizon at Ramu. The red colour depicts the firm oath
to uphold the
freedom which was achieved at the cost of the lives of millions of martyrs where
deep green colour stands for the sovereignty of our motherland and patriotism
of all the members of this division. From structural point to view, this is a
masterpiece indeed.
Height of the structure (Ajeo) – 45 feet.
Height of the tallest pillar – 40 feet.
Height of the smallest pillar – 10 feet.
Total area – 4250 sq feet
